Pat Roche Hospice home

Our beautiful 14-bed hospice home in Hingham provides a dignified and peaceful environment for residents facing a life-limiting illness. We are the first non-profit, independent hospice care home of our kind on the South Shore.

Our spiritual care providers at Croí Health work as part of the hospice team to address the holistic needs of their patients and loved ones.

A Peaceful Alternative to Hospice at Home

Residents have their own private room with bathroom and share common areas where family can gather and visit, such as a music room, tearoom, family room with full kitchen, outside terrace, and spectacular surrounding grounds.

The lower-level family kitchen, dining area, and entertainment room is specifically designated for family and friends of patients to gather.

If you are seeking residential hospice for a loved one on the South Shore, please call our main office and press 2 to be connected with our hospice team.

FAQs

A hospice home is an end-of-life care facility providing a dignified and serene environment for residents facing a life-limiting illness.

Medical insurers such as Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans do cover the cost of the hospice care, medications and medical equipment provided at the hospice home residence, just as it would be covered in one’s own home.

Room and board fees are paid by the patient and/or family. Medicare and Medicaid do not cover residence room and board. However, some private insurers and long-term care providers may.
